Seismic's launch in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace comes at a time when organizations are increasingly looking to cloud solution marketplaces versus traditional buying channels for their purchasing needs. Today, 68% of buyers prefer marketplaces because they streamline procurement processes and simplify billing. Seismic's availability in Microsoft Azure Marketplace will accelerate the adoption of sales enablement software as businesses prepare to meet evolving buyer preferences.
The adoption of digital-first sales models has shifted the way customers prefer to do business. Moving forward, McKinsey notes that 99% of B2B buyers plan to make a purchase in an end-to-end digital-first model, with a majority of buyers open to making a purchase of $50K or more online.
