To meet these challenges, Flock Safety launched Seismic’s Enablement Cloud platform, aiming to create an organized, scalable enablement system that could adapt to their rapid product innovation and mobile workforce.
Structured and Accessible Product Hubs
The enablement team set up product hubs for each of Flock Safety’s four primary products, consolidating FAQs, product guides, technical documentation, and segment-specific materials. This setup allowed sales and customer success teams to locate product information quickly and consistently.
Colleen Dougherty, Revenue Enablement Operations and Programs Manager, highlighted the importance of these hubs: “Our field teams can now go straight to the source, knowing it’s all organized and up to date. The hubs have become their go-to for accurate information on the fly.”
Flock Safety transitioned product release updates from Slack to Seismic, centralizing updates and minimizing information loss. The “Product Release” page consolidates all new features and updates, while a biweekly podcast makes content accessible on the go.
“With Seismic’s mobile app, teams can catch up on product updates from anywhere. It’s a huge time-saver, especially for a mobile team like ours,” shared Colleen.
Robust Learning Paths Tailored by Role and Enhanced Onboarding
Seismic’s learning capabilities enabled Flock Safety to design a structured training path that aligns closely with the specific needs of each role. Lois Armitage, Revenue Enablement Manager, led the charge by creating tiered product courses (101 to 401 levels) that cater to various roles, from sales reps to technical support teams.
“Our training paths build on each other, so technical teams can go deep, while sales teams stay high-level. It’s all designed to make learning more intentional and role-specific,” said Lois.
Flock Safety achieved a 200% acceleration in training development, enabling them to create and tailor role-specific courses much faster. These courses were integral to a targeted training program that resulted in a 15% decrease in days to close, exceeding the team’s original goal of 10%.
Flock Safety’s onboarding program, built in Seismic, expanded significantly through its Flight School program, with a 50% increase in personalized learning touchpoints. These additional touchpoints allowed Flock Safety to deliver tailored onboarding experiences for various roles and verticals, resulting in faster readiness for new hires.
“We built Seismic into our onboarding from day one, so new hires aren’t just watching—they’re participating, practicing, and applying what they’ve learned right away,” said JR.
Improved Cross-Functional Workflows and Governance
Seismic also enabled Flock Safety to streamline content governance and cross-functional workflows. The team implemented intake forms and regular content audits to ensure that every piece in Seismic remains relevant and up to date.
Colleen emphasized the importance of these workflows: “We’re no longer working in silos. Product, RevOps, and Marketing teams are all aligned, and we know exactly where content needs to go and how it should be maintained.”
