Seismic Editorial Collaboration & Brand Citation

Purpose

Seismic works with external publishers, SaaS platforms, and B2B websites to support accurate brand mentions and citations in editorial content. We focus on references that add value for readers, protect brand trust, and meet compliance standards.

1. When Seismic Publishes Outbound Links

Where we place links

  • We publish outbound links only within Seismic blog or editorial content.
  • We do not place outbound links on the homepage, product pages, or commercial landing pages.

Link requirements

  • Apply nofollow to all outbound links from Seismic.
  • Add links only when they directly support the surrounding editorial content.

Content contribution policy

  • We do not accept guest posts.
  • We do allow brief, contextual mentions (about 2–3 lines) when the reference supports the reader's experience.

Eligibility and restrictions

  • We do not link to homepage URLs.
  • We do not link to direct or indirect competitors.
  • We do work with partners that serve B2B audiences in the U.S. or internationally.

2. What Seismic Expects in Return

To support a collaboration, Seismic expects:

  • A clear Seismic brand citation within the editorial content.
  • A contextual link to a relevant Seismic product or solution page.
  • Dofollow links when editorial policy allows. (A brand mention without a link is acceptable.)

3. Editorial and Compliance Standards

  • We do not participate in reciprocal dofollow link schemes.
  • Please keep content reader-first, accurate, and contextually relevant.
  • Please align all activity with Google's link guidelines.

Seismic reserves the right to review, approve, or decline any collaboration that does not meet our editorial, compliance, or brand standards.
